Jack Snack

Photobucket

Jack's curiosity seems only exceeded by his own introspection. The massive reorganization of his cerebrum is a fascinating process, one I can only dimly grasp from the outside. Still, I catch him staring off towards some unfocused point time to time, and I can only conclude there's a storm of contemplation going on indoors.

I'd like to think he understands a spoon goes in the mouth, but that would be cheating. He would have done the same with a dog toy.

It is great to be a part of Jack's growing awareness of his world. He seems to tire from being held, so recently, I sat him next to me on the couch. He was at his arms length away from me. He was sitting with his back against the couch without any support, both of us facing forward without any toys. The look of enjoyment on his face was great from this "big boy" experience. He would look over at me with his wobbly head and smile. He knew something was different and we both quietly enjoy this new grandson/grandpa experience. Onward to the next Jack and Grandpa experience ! love, grandpa Robichaud
